ZTES Chosen for NAEP

U.S. Department of Education has selected Zane Trace Elementary to represent grade 4 students in the nation on the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). Known as The Nation’s Report Card, NAEP shows what students know and can do in various subject areas. To ensure that a representative sample of students is assessed, NAEP is given in a sample of schools whose students reflect the varying demographics of the nation.

NAEP participation is vital for important and valid information about the performance of students across the country. Elected officials, policymakers, congressional legislators, educators, and researchers use NAEP results to improve education for decisions on funding, developing and implementing educational programs.
